1.A collective of patrons around a common cause
The endowment fund "Undertake to Help" (EaP) and the "Musical Fund for Childhood and Youth" (FMEJ) are experienced patrons in their respective fields. The first is specialized in support for projects that combine art and care to treat mental health, the second focuses on the amusical accompaniment of young people.
With their respective expertise, EaP and the FMEJ have decided to join forces to select associative projects that combine the causes they defend throughout the year: mental health care and youth openness to music.
The economic slowdown and the lifting of taboos on the treatment of mental health induce aincreasing the financial needs of project promoters. The alliance of EaP and FMEJ funds responds to this evolution. Based on common values, they decided to take coordinated action and pool their resources to help each selected project in the most optimal way possible.
2. What are the benefits of establishing such a partnership?
This type of partnership is a first for these two endowment funds and provides an opportunity to:
- Coordinate the actions of the two sponsors for the chosen projects.
- Sharing their experiences of support to specialized associations in the treatment of mental disorders through art and the accompaniment of children through music.
- Double the financial allocation for the selected projects.
- Create a complementary approach in a process of collective sponsorship.
This collaboration on two years thus allows the convergence of know-how while keeping the specific characteristics of each of the sponsoring structures. The apprehension of a project is then approached in all its aspects by the sponsors and the project leader for a real synergy of skills.
3. A first selected project: the Baschet educational project
The first project chosen to start this partnership is the Baschet Educational Project at the Centre d'Accueil Médico-Social Précoce (CAMSP) multipurpose Bouton d'Or in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge. This one-year support allows children between 3 and 6 years of age with difficulty in psychomotor, sensory, cognitive development, with relationship problems or with a disability, to explore sounds and sound gestures. These workshops use the Baschet educational instrumentarium among other things promote communication through instruments.
4. What if you applied?
You are eligible for sponsorship and you carry a project that accompanies children with mental disorders through musical practice, you can send your project to one of the two funds.
A word from Roxane Scheibli, General Delegate of the Entreprendre pour Aider Fund
“With this new partnership, the Fonds Entreprendre pour Aider hopes to multiply its impact and support more projects. In recent years, we have seen that mental and mental health is more than ever a social issue. It is important to us to accompany those who suffer from it, through art.”
The Undertake to Help endowment fund
The endowment fund EaP actively supports care including art for people with mental and mental health disorders. Founded in 2011 by the couple of patrons Aleth and Roger Paluel-Marmont, the will of the latter is reflected today in the encouragement of access to art and artistic creation, social and professional integration, and mental health research. It supports structures such as the Art stories at the Petits Soins of the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais (RMN-GP) set up in 2021 to offer artistic practice workshops supervised by an art therapist, for young adults with autism spectrum disorders.
A word from Camille Pernelet, General Delegate of the Musical Fund for Childhood and Youth
“Convinced of the benefits of music for all children, the Fonds Musical pour l’Enfance et la Jeunesse completes the mission of JM France by expanding access to creative and quality musical practices for the most remote youth. Through this partnership, Entreprendre pour Aider and the Fonds Musical JM France are pooling their expertise to support ambitious and innovative musical projects for children and young people suffering from mental or mental disorders.”
Musical Fund for Children and Youth – JM France
Created by the association the Musical Youth of France (JM France) in 2018, the FMEJ focuses on access to quality music for the most remote children and youth.
