Eligibility for the call for projects:
To be eligible for the call for projects, the project must be supported by a structure of general interest (association, public authority) having at least 6 months of existence, and the project must fall into one of the following two streams:
- Protect, promote or restore biodiversity and ecosystems (geological and geographical specificities; defined areas that constitute the habitat of threatened animal and plant species; wetlands; ponds; coastlines and marine ecosystems...).
- Restore and enhance gardens, parks, rare and ancient species with a strong heritage and historical dimension by supporting biodiversity and ecosystem protection (botanical gardens; architectural and plant compositions, arboretums, etc.)
The selection criteria are:
- Only dossiers presenting a "global project" will be selected, that is, with an analysis of needs, concrete actions and an evaluation mechanism.
- The potential impact of the project on the attractiveness and development of the territory concerned.
- The soundness of the project financing plan and a detailed schedule.
- The commitment of a human community (inhabitants of a commune, volunteers of an association, group of citizens...) and/or the presence of a strong partnership ecosystem.
This 2022 call for projects will reward nearly EUR 400,000 for 30 projects supported in total, for a single year. A priori, however, the jury reserves the right to choose more or fewer projects, depending on their number and relevance. Depending on the projects received, the jury will be able to designate projects as “favourites”. Moreover, the Foundation’s support is not intended to be multi-year.
Recipients will benefit from:
- Of a local support with the closest Crédit Agricole corporate philanthropy correspondents for project monitoring.
- Of a project support (communication, events, inaugurations) which will be the opportunity to communicate around the news of the projects and to make discover the supported heritage.
The jury will be made up of representatives of the Foundation, representatives of the Crédit Agricole Regional Banks and experts to decide on the projects supported for this 2022 edition.
