The On the Move network has just published a new online guide, available free of charge, for artists and professionals working in an ultramarine French territory: La Réunion, Mayotte, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana and French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Wallis-et-Futuna, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. It aims to list, as exhaustively as possible, the funding available for international mobility projects to and from the ultramarine territories for artists and cultural professionals.
Supporting international artistic mobility
The Ministry of Culture supports the international mobility of artists and cultural professionals. With this in mind, one of the major challenges is to find the funding that will allow this mobility.
The Ministry of Culture supports the On the Move network, one of whose objectives is to make available information on regular support for international mobility for artists and cultural professionals. This information is accessible via guides that are available free of charge, by continent or large geographical area, to inform professionals and artists. The purpose of these guides is also to provide cultural policy makers and private donors with an overview of existing recurrent aid so that they can adjust their actions or create new schemes in order to/expanding access to cultural mobility.
