Funds for the regional conservation of historical monuments
The Regional Conservation Fund for Historical Monuments consists of a library, archives and iconographic documents specialized in art history, architecture, movable heritage and real estate.
The library
Initially a service library, the library of the Regional Conservation of Historical Monuments (CRMH) has joined the documentary space located on the ground floor of the DRAC.
This library contains some 2000 books, booklets and brochures as well as some 20 periodical titles. A large part of the fund (more than 800 documents) concerns local history and heritage.
The MHRC bibliographic collection is searchable via the base PMB the status of MHRC periodical collections is available for consultation via the SUDOC.
The archives
The Historical Monuments Service manages an important archive in relation to its various missions: protection the monumental heritage and furniture of the region; project owner on monuments of the State in the regions and studies of safeguarded sectors; scientific and technical inspection work done on protected heritage (furniture or building).
These archives, classified by department, town and monument, consist of documents of varied nature: letters and administrative documents, technical, financial, graphic and photographic documents, historical and research documentation.
These archives are periodically transferred to the departmental archives of the Loiret.
The MHRC’s collection is available by appointment.
