Territorial actions
In accordance with one of the strategic orientations of the PASE (Draft Strategic Action of the State) aimed at the balanced development of the territories, the DRAC pays particular attention to the emergence of a qualified cultural offer in the least endowed territories of the region, first of which are the departments of Indre and Cher, the eastern part of the department of Loiret, and the northwest of Eure-et-Loir. In these departments, there is a diffuse creation from the point of view of the actors, but concentrated on certain territories and underpinned by a logic of technological innovation: contemporary ceramics, still and animated images, musical creation, contemporary art.
Taking into account the characteristics of the regional territory, the conventions (Cultural Development Conventions, Cities and Countries of Art and History Conventions, Territorial Reading Contracts) Concluded between the State and local authorities, are privileged tools of cultural development.
Since 2015, the DRAC, together with the cultural pacts, a new partnership tool between the State and the cities. Based on a three-year financial commitment by the signatory parties, these pacts concern arts and cultural education, creation in all its diversity and the accompaniment of artists, a heritage policy to preserve it and make it more widely available.
Created by the law of 4 January 2002 as amended by the law of 22 June 2006, public cultural cooperation institutions (EPCC) institutionalise cooperation between different public authorities.
The city policy in particular, it is part of the "city contracts", in close coordination with the local authorities and the interdepartmental partners concerned, primarily the Regional Directorate for Youth, Sports and Social Cohesion (DRJSCS)
