The projects 2009-2016
After the restoration of the facades of the transept (2009-2013) of the belfry and its country equipment, in partnership with the City of Orléans, the Department of Loiret and the Heritage Foundation (2012), the major project focused on the exterior masonry at the corners of the transept arms, starting at the northeast corner.
This first project on the flying buttresses €3.50 million (spread over 2014 and 2016).

But the Cathedral of the Holy Cross is also the object of a permanent concern to improve its presentation to the public. Decoration and precious furniture paintings, statues, altarpieces, are gradually being restored and enhanced, especially in the chapels that found their 19th-century decoration in 2007e century after five years of work marked by the successful integration of Pierre Caron’s stained glass windows into the Gothic windows and their XIX stained glass remainse century. After restoration, the model of the western façade, created at the initiative of Jacques V Gabriel, has been presented to the public of the cathedral since June 2011.
This valuation continued in 2016 with the establishment of a signalétique financed by the State, operation studied and carried out by the services of the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs, contracting authority.
