You are a group of amateurs and you want to discover new disciplines or practices? If you have a cultural professional involved in a project for the 2023-2024 season, you can get financial assistance. Applications for the Amateur Arts and Cultural Initiatives Incentive Fund will close on March 15, 2023.
The Encouragement Fund for Amateur Artistic and Cultural Initiatives
This fund supports amateur arts initiatives. It has several objectives:
- stimulate the spirit of curiosity and discovery;
- strengthen the appropriation of contemporary writings;
- encourage experimentation;
- encourage a willingness to expand their practice.
Reserved exclusively for amateurs, it provides financial support to discover a new practice or discipline. It targets those who have chosen to come together in order to carry out a collective project with meetings of artists and/or cultural professionals.
Who can benefit from this?
Any group of amateurs of at least four people can file a file. The project must be supported by an association that will receive the funds.
This fund is intended to help amateur practice. Projects must come from the group. When submitting an application, the artistic objectives and the content of the intervention of artists and/or cultural professionals will be detailed. A cultural discovery program may be attached to the file.
The project should cover the 2023-2024 season.
Applications are submitted online until March 15, 2023.
The grant takes into account the cost of intervention by an artist or cultural professional. It may not exceed 50% of the total project budget.
The applications received will be examined by the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs, which will forward its opinion to the national commission.
