It will bring together regional archaeologists around the issue of coastal archaeology, rivers and wetlands, a major theme of regional research policy carried out by the Pays de la Loire regional archaeological service.
A seminar to raise awareness of the importance of archaeology
This seminar allows archaeologists to make their profession known and raise awareness of the rich French archaeological heritage. During these two days, this event highlights the recent discoveries presented by archaeology professionals and volunteers. The papers will be devoted to current archaeological research in the Pays de la Loire.
These days are intended to be an open meeting between all actors of regional archaeology, including those responsible for regional planning.
