Infancy

The DRAC offers cultural structures working in the field of early childhood to position themselves on the program "First Looks, First Steps" and to build projects in connection with local authorities and early childhood care facilities.

MISSIONS

A regional program promoting an artistic and cultural awakening of toddlers, is available in each department with the establishment of residencies of artists in crèche.

This program proposed by the DRAC is intended to support projects for the benefit of very young children (from birth to 3 years) and their professional and family references. At the initiative of arts and cultural professionals, these projects are being built in partnership with early childhood professionals and local communities.

Communities are supported in strengthening their early childhood plans or actions/workshops in advance of two festivals dedicated to young audiences. All artistic fields are represented, from plastic arts to cinema. Training support is also taken into account. The Contrat local d'éveil artistique des jeunes enfants (CLEAJ) on the Haut Val-d'Oise, carried out by four companies, was able to maintain shares in the crèches of Beaumont-sur-Oise and Persan.
