Acoustic walks, sound installations, concerts, the theme of garden music has largely inspired this year’s participants and many sensory experiences are at the rendezvous of the weekend. Musical animations and sounds of nature will punctuate the discovery of the garden.
Horticultural garden of Soissons (Aisne)
Mireille, a beekeeper in Soissons, offers a discovery of the sounds of the hive and especially of the song so characteristic that emit new queens bees. The educational apiary of the horticultural garden of Soissons welcomes you to observe these small beings essential to our ecosystem.

Water and poetry garden in Zuytpeene (North)
The poet gardener Gérard Guiot will make discover his words accompanied by the murmur of streams and paths of water. The opportunity to discover this garden of three and a half hectares where water is omnipresent: waterfalls, natural and biological pool, large bodies of water, but also artistic creations around this precious resource.
Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
Priory Garden in Saint-Arnoult (Oise)
With a surface of 7000 m², the Priory garden, with its 15th century manor house, consists of a planted courtyard where the plant highlights the central pond and the architecture made of wood, cob, flint and bricks. This small garden of medieval inspiration invites Alexandre Théodoulidès who will perform works of Schumann, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky on a historic piano Herz 1854. The owner of the garden invites those who wish to bring their picnic basket to extend the evening after the concert.

Tailgate garden in Wail (Pas-de-Calais)
Nestled on the edge of the Quatrevaux wood, the tailgate garden takes the public in various compositions: Japanese garden, English garden, geometric garden, black and white garden, vegetable garden. So many atmospheres, for so many different sounds: lapping of the water of the fountains, rattling of the carillon, singing of the birds, coaxing of the frogs and cackling of the hens. A gong shot may even surprise you.

Buiret House in Tully (Somme)
The Buiret residence organizes an electro tale nap by the company «Conte là d'ssus» for 30 minutes, the ideal time to rest before going out in nature.

Rendez-vous aux jardins is a national event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, which aims to highlight the richness and variety of parks and gardens, historical and contemporary and the preservation of a cultivated nature throughout the territory.
It is also an opportunity to sensitize visitors to the many actions implemented by the Ministry of Culture, local authorities and owners, private and public, to conserve, restore, create gardens and transmit knowledge and know-how.
