Publications of the Hauts-de-France Regional Archaeological Service (SRA)
Since 1991, the Regional Archaeological Service has been publishing the Regional Scientific Report, which is presented as an annual activity report. In parallel, it publishes a collection of didactic and richly illustrated brochures Archéologie des Hauts-de-France, aimed at raising awareness of the archaeology of the Hauts-de-France region to the general public.
Regional scientific review
The Bilan scientifique régional (BSR), published since 1991, presents all the operations carried out during the reference year, in the form of a short, possibly illustrated leaflet. It allows to have a complete view of the regional archaeological activity since it concerns the interventions of ground, but also on other forms of research (prospections, collective research projects), preventive and programmed. It is a scientific document, but it is widely circulated and read by non-specialists curious about what has been discovered in the region.
The collections of brochures

Following the merger of the regions in 2016, the collection was renamed «Archaeology of the Hauts-de-France» and four brochures are published each year, two devoted to the Lille sector and two others to the Amiens sector, a total of 16 until 2019.
These small booklets of 8 or 12 pages, abundantly illustrated, present the results of excavations or research carried out in the region, particularly interesting. While being synthetic, the text is adapted to the widest audience and easy to read.
