UDAP 2A is a service attached to the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Ajaccio. It is located in Ajaccio. It is composed of a team of three people under the authority of an architect of the buildings of France.
Protected areas in South Corsica include:
- The surroundings of 125 listed or listed historical monuments
- 3 remarkable heritage sites (SPR): Ajaccio, Bonifacio and Forciolo
- 8 sites registered and 11 classified
REMARKABLE HERITAGE SITES (SPAs):
The remarkable heritage sites were created by the law of 7 July 2016 on the freedom of creation, architecture and heritage.
This system aims to protect and enhance the architectural, urban and landscape heritage of our territories.
The UDAP publish advice sheets to support owners in their restoration projects, especially in remarkable heritage sites.

Pre-consultations (CP):
It is recommended to consult the UDAP before filing an application for authorization, whether it is a new construction, a modification of an existing building, a demolition, the creation of a subdivision, the establishment of a sign or the development of an outdoor space.
Outside protected areas, it is advisable to contact the CAUE, which provides free architectural advice.
This upstream work, made of reciprocal listening and dialogue, most often avoids the blockages that could appear during the examination of files.
