Teri Moïse left us on May 7 in Madrid. She was 43 years old.
Author, composer, performer of Haitian origin, born in Los Angeles, Teri Moïse moved to Paris in 1990 to pursue studies of Letters at the University of the Sorbonne.
After a new stay in Los Angeles, she returned to Paris in 1992 to compose and find her way between pop and soul and Caribbean melodies. Her first single, in 1996, "Les poèmes de Michelle" was to truly launch her career. His first album earned him a Victoire de la musique in 1997.
She has wonderfully defended the beauty of our language throughout the world.
She had moved away from the stage in recent years but her voice and poetry remain.
