Created in Limoges in 1993 with the aim of establishing an experimental and artistic link between industrialists and designers, architects and visual artists, the Craft invites artists, designers and architects to explore ceramics, materials and techniques. It fosters collaborations with designers and artists in the industry through research focused on innovation and new product development.
The Craft challenged itself to answer the question “What more can we do with ceramics?”
Since its creation, more than 60 artists, designers and architects have worked at Craft, making this centre a true bridge between art and industry. In total, more than a hundred works and prototypes have been produced, some of which are now on display in windows.
This exhibition presents a panorama of these creations.
