Frédéric Mitterrand, Minister of Culture and Communication, visited the Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-Val deSeine on 20 June 2011, guided by its designer, architect Frédéric Borel, the recent winner of the Grand Prix national de l'architecture.

Installed in the old SUDAC compressed air factory in the 13th
district of Paris, the Paris-Val de Seine School of Architecture has federated
four architecture schools in an architectural and academic environment
unique.

The Minister of Culture and Communication welcomed the meeting with
students, teachers, researchers and staff of an institution
which is one of the six national architecture colleges of the Grand
Paris”, which contributes to the network of twenty architecture schools, under
under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Communication,
innovation and creativity requirements necessary for the development of a
citizen architecture for the territories of the 21st century.

Frédéric Mitterrand also wished to welcome again the talent, the
singularity and finesse of the work of architect Frédéric Borel.
