Frédéric Mitterrand welcomes the signing of the film co-production agreement with the Republic of South Africa and the conclusion of a new cultural cooperation programme with that country

On this occasion, the two ministers signed, for the first time, a
film co-production agreement that will allow films
between France and the Republic of South Africa
support systems of both countries.
A new program of cooperation in the field of arts and
was also signed for the period 2010-2012. It will allow the
strengthening exchanges and expertise in the arts
visual arts, heritage, cultural industries and the
digitization.
These agreements reflect the will of the two ministers, who had
met last January, to take a new step in the
development of cultural relations between France and the Republic
