This is an encouraging sign at a time when the
set of technological and economic challenges that will allow it to
maintain its place at the highest international level.
I am delighted for the Agency, for its collaborators and I want to
thank Pierre Louette for all the work he has done during these
years. Its record is extremely positive. It has recovered
the situation of the Agency and lay the foundations for an essential project
modernization.
Thanks to this extremely positive record, and with the roadmap
proposed in the recent report of the Reflection Committee on the Future of
AFP, Emmanuel Hoog, has strong assets that will allow him to
an ambitious and promising project for the Agency.

Frédéric Mitterrand is delighted that Emmanuel Hoog, unanimously recognized for his success in his previous functions at the National Audiovisual Institute (INA)AFP’s Board of Directors met today to elect its new president. This is a clear guarantee of legitimacy and confidence for a new President who has to carry out the major task of modernizing the Agency.
