Filmmaker Raoul Peck is named President of La Fémis, with Claude Miller as Director.

The filmmaker Raoul Peck, former Minister of Culture of Haiti, director of
film and television films (including “Man on the Quays”,
“Lumumba”, “The Villemin Case”, “The School of Power”) was named
President of the Ecole nationale supérieure des métiers de l'image et du son
(La Fémis) by decree of the President of the Republic, on a proposal from the
Minister of Culture and Communication Frédéric Mitterrand.

On January 10, 2010, he succeeded Claude Miller, who had led the company since 2007.
