The mission of the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie (MPP) is to collect and constitute, classify and preserve, study, communicate and enhance:
- the archives and documentation of the administration of historic monuments (monumental heritage, furniture and archeology),
- the photographic heritage of the State, rich in twenty million phototypes (negatives and prints) dating back to the origins of photography.
