Rendez-vous aux jardins (RDVJ) aims to highlight the richness and variety of parks and gardens, historical and contemporary of the territory, and will take place in about twenty gardens in Guadeloupe on 2, 3 and 4 June 2023 (June 2 is dedicated to welcoming school children).
This highlight is an opportunity to raise the awareness of the many actions implemented by the Ministry of Culture, local authorities and owners, private and public, to create, conserve, restore gardens and transmit knowledge and know-how.
This year, for its 20the edition, the Ministry of Culture has chosen to give a spotlight on the music of the garden. This theme evokes the many sounds heard in the gardens: songs of birds, sounds of other animals (frogs, insects, etc.), sounds of water, wind, plants, sound installations, music composed for a garden, etc.
