These presentations are organized as part of the 36th edition of the Rue d'Aurillac International Theatre Festival, expected from 23 to 26 August 2023.
The project presentations will take place on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 9:30 am to 12 pm at the festival’s professional reception, at the Jules Ferry College with two groups of professionals (twice 12min maximum to present his creative project).
As project presentations take place outside, there is no possibility to present a video, or a power point.
Who is this call for?
This call for applications is addressed to professional companies in the street arts sector who have already presented a first creative work for the public space and presented an artistic project:
- created in, with and for the public space, without specific format or discipline criteria;
- with an official creation release scheduled between January 2024 and December 2024.
At the end of this call, 8 projects will be selected by the ÉCLAT team.
Accompaniment
By winning this call for projects:
- The artistic team will have 12 minutes of speaking time and 3 minutes of questions/answers. This presentation time allows the company to share its creative project and the current needs of its production in front of the professionals present.
- The selected creation project will have visibility on the ARTCENA creation project locator calendar

Eclat/ Aurillac Festival
ÉCLAT, certified by the Ministry of Culture Centre National des Arts de la Rue et de l'Espace Public, is:
- organization of the Aurillac Festival, since 1986 - Festival International de Théâtre de Rue,
- welcome in company residence at the Umbrella - opened since 2004
- and in the territory of Cantal, the dissemination of shows and the implementation of cultural actions and awareness actions to the Street Arts throughout the year.
SHARD is one of the 14 National Circus Centres (NPCs) certified by the Ministry of Culture. Its National Circus Pole missions are implemented through the various axes of its project: cultural season, itinerant capital, support for creation, cultural actions, current circus festival...
The PNC participate in the renewal of artistic forms and aesthetics of the circus. They organize their activities mainly around support missions and support of creation and dissemination in the field of circus.
They constitute a structuring network in favor of the influence of the circus, as well as the renewal of its artistic forms and its aesthetics for the benefit of the widest public.
