Within the framework of a three-year framework agreement with the Ministries of Education and Culture, the plan "Nice 100% Culture at School" developed by the City of Nice aims to provide school children with an artistic and cultural education in the fields of Art and Heritage.
Five themes are selected: music education, heritage and literature education, image education, music education and live performance education.
Started in the 2021-2022 school year with an experiment on 21 schools, spread over all the school districts of the city, this plan will continue, in the 2023 school year2024 in 81 schools identified by the National Education and distributed throughout the territory of the City of Nice.
The interventions will take the form of a creative-transmission residency and artistic practice workshops. Each participant may apply for one or both forms of intervention.
The candidates are professionals of Culture and Heritage and having their domicile or registered office located in the territory of the department of Alpes Maritimes.
Terms and Schedule
- Creation-transmission residence: 12 hours maximum intervention per class for a residence and supported up to 967 € TTC per class
- Artistic practice workshop: maximum of 12 hours of intervention per class for a workshop and will be supported up to 733 € TTC per class
- payment of material costs for the implementation of the interventions included in the amount of the lump sums
- The jury will take into account the candidate’s professionalism in his cultural field as well as the quality of the educational interventions he will have carried out previously.

- mar : Selection jury of artists and cultural associations
- School registration (3 weeks)
- apr : Processing of school registrations and meeting between teachers and artists selected to finalize projects
- In early may : Transmission of projects by the National Education to the City of Nice
