The Dunkerque Grand Littoral Urban Community and its partners are launching 3 calls for applications for a total of 4 residencies-missions, directed by artists from all fields of artistic expression, the last residency being devoted to journalists.

What is the principle behind these calls for applications?

Driven by a desire to reduce inequalities inaccess to art and culture, the Dunkerque Urban Community has set an ambitious target of generalise arts and cultural education, which is thought of throughout life, thus addressing all the inhabitants of the territory regardless of their age and all the professionals of culture, the social field and the associative life in the broad sense that make up it.

These partners are able to launch this offer knowing that they can rely on the collective strength and energy of the very many local actors arts and cultural education, whether they are cultural professionals, teachers, facilitators, educators, mediators, social workers, health professionals, etc.

For the 2023-2024 season, 4 mission residences are available:

The urban community, in partnership with the Hauts-de-France Regional Cultural Affairs Directorate (DRAC), proposes two mission residences open to artists from all fields of artistic expression.

Local Arts Education Contract (CLEA)

He is wanted for a residence-mission that will be deployed in the territory of the urban community of Dunkerque Grand Littoral, a professional artist of all areas of artistic expressionand whose research and approach are deliberately included in the contemporary creation.

Media and Information Literacy (MIL)

Convinced of the relevance of this proposal for the public and educational stakeholders of its territory, the urban community of Dunkerque wishes to continue its commitment to theMedia literacy for the 2023-2024 school year by inviting again, a professional journalist.
