These results were made possible by the new remote proofing method inaugurated by the CNAP in 2020 in the Marne department: each depositary is contacted to locate the works deposited in his municipality.
The disappearance rate of the department, quite high (32.55%), is mainly due to the damage suffered by the department during the Second World War.
The Orne department in figures:
- 298 goods harvested
- 102 goods not located, or 32.55% of the goods sown
- 5 goods found after the payments
- 5 complaints requested of which 3 filed

This painting, originally deposited at the Musée des Beaux-arts et de la Dentelle d'Alençon, was found during the proofing performed by the CNAP in 2017 at the Saint-Germain-de-Cacorbéis town hall, where it had been sub-deposited without the depositary having been authorized by the CNAP.
