Within the framework of the XX architecture valuation policy^e The Ministry of Culture’s commitment to the quality of the living environment, the Department of Architecture has been working for several years to identify and understand the architecture of housing.

After the large projects, a study on the architectural, urban and landscape quality of the individual grouped housing subdivisions was conducted, accompanying the legislative work around section 81 of the Freedom of Creation, Architecture and Heritage Act (CASL).

The publication of a book by Dominique Carré for the Ministry of Culture closes this work. To accompany the release of the book, the architecture department organizes a seminar day around the theme of individual housing projects.

This event is an opportunity to bring together a wide variety of stakeholders concerned by these subjects, to discuss them: architects, landscapers, urban planners, communities, researchers and teachers, ministries and institutions.
