The 20th edition of the European Night of Museums, organised by the Ministry of Culture, will take place on Saturday 18 May 2024. An unmissable event, it allows the public, of all ages and backgrounds, to visit for free, in the evening and in a festive atmosphere, more than 3000 museums in France and Europe.
On this occasion, museums offer to discover their collections and temporary exhibitions differently. Invited from an early age to see cultural establishments with a new eye, the public will be kept alert by new routes, guided tours, outdoor entertainment, live performance, music, culinary arts, screenings and other unusual festivities.
The operation «The class, the work!» will allow students of primary, middle and high school to become again this year the cultural mediators of the evening: after having studied throughout the year a work of a museum of proximity, they will present to the public the mediation system they have imagined with their teachers!
