What is the label «Scène conventionnée d'intérêt national»?
The label «Stage conventionnée d'intérêt national» was defined in 2017. It is part of a general work of redefinition of labels and of the convention in the live performance carried out by the Ministry of Culture.
The Convention Scenes aim to identify and promote a programme of artistic and cultural actions. The programme in question must be of general interest for artistic creation and the development of participation in cultural life. It must be one of three statements:
- “Art and creation”for projects that support artists and facilitate their creation,
- “Art, childhood, youth”for projects that support young audiences and are at the heart of artistic and cultural education partnerships and pathways,

The designation is granted for a renewable period of 4 years.
