The programming will allow to discover the plurality of the missions of the regional management. Three discovery areas, spread over the courtyards and the garden, will highlight the actions and projects supported by the DRAC.
Cultural Olympiad
As part of theCultural Olympiad, the exhibition Combining muscle with mind, created by the Maison de l'architecture de Franche-Comté and the DRAC, will be presented. It highlights the architecture of 17 sports facilities in our region, some of which have obtained the label Remarkable contemporary architecture.
Young and old can also discover the work of Emma Picard, Escalation of peace, deascalade of violence. This creation, supported by the DRAC and labeled Cultural Olympiad, will be to climb in duo.
Archaeology: initiation and awareness
Archeology will be in the spotlight in the garden. The Regional Archaeological Service will present its missions and the latest discoveries made in the region. TheNational Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research will propose different activities to introduce the public to archeology: an anthropology workshop for children from 8 years old and archaeologists will be presented by archaeologists. Sensitive to gender issues, the DRAC will host the exhibition Archeo-sexism, created by the association Pay your trowel. This collective project raises awareness of discrimination in archaeology and promotes studies related to gender archaeology.
Crafts: meeting know-how and creators
The fine crafts will be showcased in the courtyard of the military commander’s hotel. The Regional Arts Conservation and Restoration Centre, supported by the DRAC, will present the different trades and technical gestures related to the restoration of works of art (paintings, sculptures, frames, etc.). Sylvie Hoarau, origamist and designer on paper, will present her creations and her art. Jules Levasseur will present his approach to the aesthetics of local industrial and craft trades through some of his works that he distributes in short circuit.
Hotels Chartraire de Montigny and the military commander
Finally, of guided tours, provided by a member of the regional conservation of historic monuments, will complement this programme. The reception and its contemporary chandelier, the staircase of honor, the office of the director will be to discover.
European Heritage Days in Burgundy-Franche-Comté
In Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, a region rich in an important tangible and intangible heritage, the success of the JEP continues unabated. Many places, some exceptionally open, will introduce visitors to local know-how, history and tradition. More than 1,100 events will take place throughout the weekend.
