The 2014 Louis-Delluc Prize has been awarded to Sils Maria of Olivier Assayas.
I extend my warmest congratulations to the director but also to Juliette Binoche, the wonderful actress who allowed this beautiful film to take on all its dimension, its depth.
Love, death, passing time, the art of living and interpreting one’s own life… On these eternal themes, Olivier Assayas has built a fascinating narrative whose images and words will remain in our memories for a long time.
