Fire Safety Sheets and Guides

The fire safety of establishments receiving from the public and those receiving workers is essentially governed by the Construction and Housing Code, the Labour Code, and the resulting regulations. These standards are intended to reduce the likelihood of fire starting and, in the event of a fire starting, to limit its spread, to ensure the evacuation of people, and to facilitate the engagement of emergency services. They also contribute to the protection of property and can be supplemented by voluntary measures, particularly in cultural and cultural institutions, which present strong heritage issues.
