Donate a photographic collection
Would you like to donate or bequeath all or part of a photographic collection to the State?
The donation of a photographic collection is not subject to a specific procedure. The donor (artist as rights holders and descendants) can express his wish to donate all or part of his work to the State.
The team of the Delegation for Photography is at your disposal to accompany you in this process.

A meeting with the donor will be organized in order to evaluate his request and the content of the possible donation and thus consider institutions that can host, preserve, process and value the donation in the best way: a museum, an archive center, or a library... Some donation proposals are accompanied by requests that require a study by experts.
Once the donor is put in touch with the welcoming structure, the latter is responsible for contracting this donation.
