Exhibitions of national interest
The label «Exhibition of National Interest» was created by the Ministry of Culture in 1999 to highlight and support remarkable exhibitions organized by the museums of France in different regions. They highlight themes that reflect the richness and diversity of the collections of museums in France.
A national label
These “Exhibitions of National Interest” are part of the Ministry of Culture’s policy of cultural democratization. Throughout the territory, this label rewards an innovative museum discourse, a novel thematic approach, a scenography and a mediation device with the aim of reaching the most varied audiences, particularly in the context of arts and cultural education.
