Seminars, seminars and study days
As part of the implementation of the heritage policy in the field of ethnology of France, the Ministry of Culture supports and accompanies, after review of applications received, colloquia, events and publications. This section presents the seminars, study days and seminars organized or supported by the Ministry.
These scientific events are implemented through numerous partners with universities (Toulouse, Bordeaux, etc.), major educational and research institutions (INP, Ecole Nationale des Chartes, etc.), laboratories and teams of the CNRS (Lahic, CECOJI, etc.), ethnopoles (Garae, Salagon Conservatory Museum, Courbet Museum, etc.), or cultural associations (Crécet, Ethnographic Film Committee, Maison des Cultures du Monde, etc.).
The themes addressed during these meetings fall into different axes: general ethnology, ethnological heritage, ethnology of heritage, intangible cultural heritage, ethnobotany, visual anthropology...
