The research programmes
The successive programmes launched by the Ethnological Heritage Mission, the Ethnology Mission and the Ministry of Culture by means of a call for tenders have resulted in a series of research reports, which have been Media library of architecture and heritage.
The Audois Group of Ethnographic Research and Animation (GARAE) and the National Library of France are also recipients of the reports received.
It is also common for all or part of the reports to be subsequently published, or collections of ethnology of France to the Ministry, or to an institutional or private publisher.
Studies are applied research, carried out to help make public policy decisions about ethnological heritage. Since the beginning, the studies have been archived and kept in the National Archives.
