Listening cell in live and recorded show
The Ministry of Culture funds a listening and alerting cell for the prevention and fight against sexual and sexist violence and harassment in the live performance, music, audiovisual and film sectors.
On June 8, the Federation of Performing Arts, Music, Audiovisual and Film Companies (FESAC) and employee representative organisations in these sectors have signed a Action Plan on Equality and Gender and Sexual Violence. One of the five components of this plan is to create of a listening cell and alert, implemented on 15 June 2020 with financial support from the Ministry of Culture.
This action echoes the resolute policy adopted by the Ministry of Culture and its partners to combat and prevent HSV in these sectors. Thus, in 2019, the Ministry had announced the conditioning of the granting of aid from the CNC to follow up, by employers of the sectors of cinema, audiovisual and video game, of a training to the prevention and reporting of VHSS: this device comes into force on 1er january 2020. In this sense, the FESAC listening cell reinforces an arsenal of internal and external tools that are increasingly effective for equality.
