Cultural policies
The Ministry of Culture is involved in many projects aimed at strengthening equality between women and men and diversity by acting in all its ministerial fields, and each structure makes commitments to intervene in the areas that come under its authority and in the cultural policies it promotes:
In the field of education,
Each school of higher education Culture is assisted:
- in the establishment of an ethical charter,
- in the creation of mixed and welcoming study environments for all student profiles,
- raising the awareness of its teaching teams on issues of equality and diversity,
- in the formation of joint juries,
- and in the extension of the range of works studied and the proposed careers;
In the field of image education,
by the representation of all facets of humanity and the deconstruction of stereotypes, in connection with the representatives of cinema and audiovisual, school publishing, youth literature, the advertising sector, as well as with the CSA and relevant associations;
In the field of artistic creation,
by increasing the presence of women at the head of cultural institutions in all sectors as well as in their programming, through the establishment of internal observatories of environments and professions, as well as quantitative targets for progress;
In the field of heritage,
with the support of exhibitions highlighting equality and diversity and the development of access to cultural products for all audiences, beyond inequalities;
In the field of media and audiovisual,
with the fight against violence, harassment, inequalities and precarities, within schools, the editorial boards and the subjects addressed;
In the digital field,
- helping to make the Internet safer and more welcoming for all,
- developing the accessibility of cultural works online,
- and by encouraging companies and schools in the video game sector to make specific commitments to equality in their teams and to raise awareness of the content of the games themselves.
