Construisons ensemble la place du numérique dans la Culture
The explosion of digital uses throughout society, the effects of the health crisis on cultural practices, or the advent of immersive technologies and artificial intelligence, today raise very directly the question of the place of digital in culture. These developments have a lasting impact on the processes of creation, dissemination and relations with audiences, and raise many questions about the objectives of cultural policies in a digital world.
In order to stimulate reflection on these issues and to question the role of the Ministry in supporting cultural actors facing these challenges, the Ministry of Culture mobilized the cultural ecosystem and launched a public consultation. On the basis of a first document written by the digital department in collaboration with all the teams of the Ministry, a prospective and participatory approach has been conducted since September 2022 around the themes presented below. Throughout the first half of 2023, this approach opened more broadly with the launch of an online public consultation platform, to shed new light on the diversity of views and operational needs of field actors.
Together, let’s build a shared and positive vision of a responsible and sustainable digital culture!
The consultation is over, thank you for your participation!
We take the time to analyze all the contributions on all 9 themes. Your remarks will feed the reflection of the Ministry of Culture on its cultural digital strategy and the actions that follow. The digital department of the Ministry of Culture will share the results and the decisions adopted in early 2024.
