For several years, the State has been strongly supporting - and supporting - the creation and development of cultural enterprises, with the ambition of promoting and supporting national champions within the creative and cultural industries (ICC) sector.

The Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, the General Secretariat for Investment, the Centre National du Cinéma et de l'Image Animée (CNC) are among the most important sources of aid and funding., the Institut pour le Financement du Cinéma et des Industries culturelles (IFCIC), BpiFrance and the Caisse des dépôts et consignation.
The Government is committed to two new financing mechanisms, as announced by the President of the Republic on 13 May last before many representatives of the cultural and creative industries, which are now operational.
These new measures reflect the Government’s desire to facilitate access to funding for the cultural and creative industries. By recognizing this strategic challenge, they also represent a first step towards structuring the various sectors of the culture economy and creation into a real sector.
