Training in craft trades
Crafts of the hand and passion, crafts are learned in workshops through the development of the practice with experienced masters. Around 40 CAP, Crafts Patents (BMA) and the National Diploma of Crafts and Design (DNMADE) are available on an alternating basis in schools where theory, craft and technical practice are shared with professional workshops: France has nearly 1000 establishments or training centres offering a variety of courses.
The public institutions Culture (museums, castles, national factories, BNF, National Archives, etc.) welcome apprentices in dozens of specialties. To become an art technician, head of technical work and technical assistant at the Ministry of Culture, you must pass the public service competition.

The Arts Excellence Campus
