Business days
As part of the scientific program «conservation-restoration of cultural property» launched by the Directorate General of Heritage and Architecture (DGPA), the Ministry of Culture inaugurated in 2011 a cycle of professional days for all stakeholders in the world of heritage conservation and restoration. The objective of these meetings is to present exemplary case studies to the heritage community, both by the methodology used and by the questions encountered, and to offer a space for transversal dialogue to all fields of heritage (archaeology, archives, books, historical monuments, museums), thus allowing fruitful exchanges for better conservation.
The Professional Days of Conservation and Restoration are organized each year in partnership with the National Institute of Heritage (Inp) and the City of Architecture & Heritage (CAPA) by a committee coordinated by the Research Department, Valorisation and Intangible Cultural Heritage (DGPA), made up of representatives of the DGPA, public institutions and services under national jurisdiction.
