Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on accessibility requirements for products and services provides that e-books and specialised software shall be accessible from 28 June 2025. This study conducted by Accenture with the Ministry of Culture analyzes the impacts of the provisions of the directive on the production of digital books and identifies the means to be implemented to succeed in this transition to the natively accessible digital book.
