The Price 1 building, 1 work
This prize awarded by the Ministry of Culture, distinguishes the exemplary works realized within the framework of the charter 1 building, 1 work. It was celebrated for the third time in 2023.
The price 1 building, 1 work 2023
On June 29, 2023, Rima Abdul-Malak, Minister of Culture, presented the prize 1 building, 1 work to four winning teams, artists and sponsors, rewarding exemplary projects of the scheme carried out between 2021 and 2022.
On this occasion, the Minister of Culture warmly thanked the real estate actors mobilized in the program 1 building, 1 work, the partners of the device and in particular the Federation of real estate developers of France (FPI) and the association Club 1 building, 1 work, as well as the members of the artistic committee and the art professionals who support this program.
Les trophées remis aux artistes et commanditaires primés, ont été conçus par la designeure Pernelle Poyet, jeune talent de la scène artistique contemporaine, dans le cadre d’une commande artistique.
Les artistes ont reçu une dotation de 3000 euros.

Nature and gardens by Cécile Jaillard, a participatory artistic project commissioned by the social funder Toit et Joie – Poste Habitat, in Villiers-le-Bel
The Seeing City by Studio Other Spaces, Ólafur Elíasson and Sebastian Behmann, an immersive installation commissioned by the promoter Groupe Emerige, in Paris
Beautiful View #1 by the duo of artists Lang/Baumann, a monumental sculpture commissioned by the developer and urban operator Bouygues Immobilier, for Nanterre Coeur University
The price 1 building, 1 work 2021
On July 12, 2021, Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin announced the Building 1 Award, which recognizes exemplary projects carried out between 2019 and 2020. The artistic committee has designated tie-breaker three 2021 winners.
A trophy designed by artist Mathieu Mercier and produced by the Centre international de recherche sur le verre et les arts plastiques (CIRVA) in Marseille was awarded to the winners. The artists received an endowment of 3000 euros.

Cyprien Chabert for Le Bayou commissioned by Marignan (and the Duval Group) in 2019, three black and white frescoes drawn with markers in the halls of the O'2 Parcs real estate program (Hardel Le Bihan Architectes), in Nantes
Sacha Goldberger for The Companions of the Renaissance commissioned by ARDIAN Real Estate in 2019, six photographs of the construction workers of the Renaissance real estate complex, on the tarpaulin temporarily installed on the building’s facade, in Paris
Carmen Perrin for Iris cloud commissioned by VINCI immobilier in 2020, a colorful and translucent composition of thousands of glass pavers on the nine floors of the east façade of the Illumine office building (Agence M. Vila Bach), in Paris
The price 1 building, 1 work 2019
On June 3, 2019, Frank Riester presented the 1 Building Award, 1 work that rewards exemplary projects of the device carried out between 2015 and 2018. Three winners were rewarded at this first ceremony.
The trophy awarded to the winners of the Prix 1 immeuble, 1 œuvre was designed by designers Jean-Baptiste Fastrez and Brynjar Sigurdarson and made at the Manufacture de Sèvres, as part of a one-year residency.
The 2019 winners
The developer Bouygues Immobilier for its order program placed in 2018, to five street artists for the student residence "Ambroise-Croizat" in Villejuif.
Each artist has invested a level with a unique constraint a pictorial rendering in anamorphosis. Corridors, elevators, ceilings, 2500 m² were invested:
-Astro, Immersion (ground floor)
-Olivia de Bona, The holiday season (1st floor)
-Zdey, Wandering joy of a laughing world (2nd floor)
-Asto, Geometriic Bursting (3rd floor)
-Theo Lopez, Blade Runner (4th floor)
The promoter Emerige for the monumental work La Traversée by artist Eva Jospin as part of the Beaupassage programme in Paris.
Eva Jospin’s work for Beaupassage was carried out in 2017 in former warehouses on rue de Tolbiac in Paris, as part of a residency organized by Emerige and the Emerige Endowment Fund. The Traversée was revealed for the first time on the occasion of the exhibition Voyage au centre de la terre on a proposal by curator Jérôme Sans.
The real estate developer Vinci for the works of ceramicist Louise Frydman, The Petal Fairy and White forest, both located in the halls of residential buildings on Rue Victor Hugo in Puteaux.
The Petal Fairy, horizontal mobile overlooking the staircase, refers to several earlier installations of the artist in the public space. White forest, a more intimate vertical wall panel, refers to the biomorphic term characteristic of the artist’s universe. It evokes nature through the repeated motif of a white petal.
