A national consultation organised by the Ministry of Culture and Communication On 21 November, Aurélie Filippetti set up the steering committee of the national consultation on arts and cultural education. Chaired by Marie Desplechin, this committee composed of elected officials, personalities from the world of culture, Research and Education will hear nearly a hundred institutional bodies and representatives of the actors working for arts and cultural education until 7 December.
The aim of this consultation is both to reinforce the ambition of arts and cultural education which has been rethought in terms of taking into account all the time of the child and the young person, to deepen and clarify the conditions for a territorial and partnership approach to arts and cultural education, to present the modalities of the operational implementation of these fundamental orientations in a specification.
Led by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the consultation therefore involves all partner ministries, associations representing local authorities and their networks, the actors and networks of the professional circles of culture and the socio-educational world.
It is linked to the work carried out in the context of the development of the school orientation and programming bill, to clarify the notion of artistic and cultural education pathways. Including the teaching provided in the school setting and supplemented by educational actions developed in a project approach in partnership, at school or outside school, the artistic and cultural education pathway combines all the knowledge acquired, experienced practices and encounters with works, venues and arts and culture professionals. It is built in the complementarity of school, extracurricular and extracurricular time. The evolution of the issue of school rhythms will also be integrated into the reflection.
The consultation will be based on the conclusions of the consultation on the recasting of the School, on DRAC assessments and diagnostics, and on the analyses of the joint task of taking stock of the situation entrusted to the general inspections of the two ministries of national education and culture and communication.
