. Graduate Continuing Education (CPD);

The ENSA’s Versailles, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nantes, Strasbourg and theESA of Paris propose a continuing vocational training (CVT) employees engaged in professional life in the field of architecture, construction or spatial planning enabling them to obtain the diplomas of the curriculum of architecture education according to an arranged schedule. The first and second cycles each comprise 4 semesters and lead to the diploma of studies in architecture and the diploma of State of architect.

For undergraduate admission to CVT, the applicant must have a professional activity in the field of architecture, of varying duration depending on the level of education and professional experience. In all cases, it includes the equivalent of at least 3 full-time years in the fields of architecture under the authority of an architect. Applicants must also complete eligibility tests to assess their abilities. Each year, between 150 and 200 people benefit from the possibility of obtaining DEEA and DEA while continuing their professional activity.

. Lifelong learning in ENSA;

In accordance with the tasks assigned to them, the National Higher Schools of Architecture (ENSA) have developed numerous actions in the field of lifelong learning aimed at professionals in architecture, urban and territorial planning. The courses they offer, in the context of short or long sessions, enable project management and project management professionals to acquire the new skills and expertise required by regulatory and societal developments and to promote the competitiveness of architectural agencies, whether in France, in the European economic area or on the world market.

In recent years, ENSA has developed a continuing education provision focused on the following themes:
- Sustainable development;
- New regulations;
- Energy transition;
- Accessibility for persons with disabilities;
- rehabilitation
- Digital tools for the architectural project (BIM and digital model);

. The Chaillot School

The Chaillot School is the training department of the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine. It offers several courses.

- The diploma of specialization and deepening (DSA) under Architecture and Heritage.

The school trains architects in two years, with two days of classes every two weeks, who seek a specialization in the field of conservation, restoration, development, the transformation and reuse of old buildings and centres. Covering the entire architectural, urban and landscape field, this training provides the necessary historical, cultural, technical, administrative and legislative knowledge. It provides essential knowledge for theChief Architect of Historic Monuments (ACMH) and theState architect and town planner (AUE). The DSA is a national postmaster level higher education diploma.

- The doctorate

The Chaillot School has been implementing and developing research practices since 2013. Three components now illustrate them: the PhD for students and graduates of the school, doctoral seminars with the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and two days of study per year.

The PhD at the École de Chaillot was established by the signing of an agreement in July 2015 with the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. This is a partnership agreement on access to the doctorate through continuing education. This applies to graduates and students of the school who wish to enrol in doctoral studies. This convention makes it possible to host these postulants at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in four doctoral schools: archaeology, history, art history and geography. The particularity of this convention is that it is based on a double thesis direction.

- The school of application of State architects and urban planners

Jointly with theÉcole des Ponts et Chaussées-ParisTech Acting on behalf of the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion (MCT), the École de Chaillot organizes, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, the one-year post-concussion training State architects and planners.

- International actions

The school designs and implements abroad, in liaison with institutes or universities, courses specialized in the field of architectural, urban and landscape heritage. It also participates in advisory and expertise missions at the request of governments or on behalf of international organizations.

- Continuing training

Drawing on its experience in the field of architecture and heritage, the school provides training for the general public, teachers and researchers, elected officials and project management professionals.
