For the 31th edition of the prizes organized by the Groupe Moniteur, the jury presented the Silver Square to the Louvre Lens Museum. I extend my warmest congratulations to the architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of the Sanaa agency for project management, and to the Nord-Pas de Calais region for project management. Together, they were able to convert a mining site into a magnificent cultural facility that was applauded by the general public when it opened on December 4, 2012.

I would also like to congratulate the winners of the two Silver Square awards. First to Babled-Nouvet-Reynaud architects, project manager and to the Société immobilière d'économie mixte de la Ville de Paris, project owner, for twenty social housing units in Paris, in the twentieth district, recognized for its originality and energy performance. Then to Atelier Seraji architects and associates, project manager, and to the Office public de l'habitat et de l'immobilier social du Puy-de-Dôme, project owner, for 74 housing units in Clermont-Ferrand: an ensemble in harmony with the nineteenth century building facing it.

I would also like to congratulate Boris Bouchet and the municipality of Marsac-en Levradois for the rural space project of local services that received the First Work Award.
