Archaeology studies the traces left by the women and men who preceded us, to reconstruct their way of life, their organization and their environment. The Ministry of Culture carries out the inventory of sites, prescribes, authorizes and controls archaeological operations, protects the archaeological heritage, contributes to its study and enhances the results of research.
