Presentation of press distribution aid
- Aid for the distribution of the press, introduced in 2002, is intended for daily and weekly national political and general information publications.
Distribution aid is divided into two sections.
The breakdown of overall aid between the two sections is carried out by the Director-General for Media and Cultural Industries.
Aid under the first section is allocated:
- national French-language political and general information dailies, appearing at least five times a week and benefiting from the registration certificate issued by the Joint Committee on Publications and News Agencies;
- national publications of at least weekly periodicity, of a political and general information nature, printed on newsprint for at least 90% of their surface area and for which the selling price and the period of presentation for sale of each issue are comparable to those of national dailies.

Aid under the second section is allocated:
- printed publications of a maximum weekly frequency of political and general information having obtained the registration certificate issued by the Joint Committee on Publications and News Agencies (Article D. 19-2 of the Post and Electronic Communications Code), which disseminate their publications abroad.
The reduction of the cost of the carriage abroad of titles distributed by issue is the subject of aid under the second section, either directly to the press publishers, or through an approved press distribution company or one of the persons mentioned in I of article 13 of the aforementioned law of 18 October 2019.
An application submitted by an approved press distribution company or one of the persons mentioned in Article 13 of Law No. 2019-1063 of 18 October 2019 relating to the modernization of press distribution with a view to the distribution abroad of a title is exclusive of any request submitted individually by the publisher for the same title.
