A collective catalogue
The online catalogue of digitized cultural heritage describes the digitized collections and the associated multimedia productions (website, DVD, CD-ROM...). It identifies the institutions behind digitization projects in France.
The catalogue is the national component of the european project Michael.
These documentary databases form a coherent whole organized according to the following principle:
- the basis Architecture - Mérimée - identifies buildings in which movable works studied in the Palissy database can be kept,
- the basis Furniture - Palissy - identifies movable objects whose preservation buildings can be studied in Mérimée,
- the basis Images - Memory - contains still images, some of which illustrate the works of Mérimée and Palissy as well as the Thesaurus.
The Architecture and Heritage Library is responsible for collecting, studying, inventorying, preserving and making available to both the Administration and the public the information resources of the Architecture and Heritage Directorate.
Media library contributes to portals Collections and Europeana.
