The Hungarian habitologist, Antti Lovag, proposed a house project in 1969 to Antoine Gaudet. The virulent opposition and the many difficulties mean that the construction is only carried out between 1986 and 1989. The whole is a complex interweaving of half-spheres connected by communication pipes, all without regular plan. The house follows the relief and spreads in the crevices of the rocks; it disappears in the surrounding nature. The bubbles are formed by a light, self-supporting reinforcement used as support for a projecting concrete wall. Lovag’s work is to be placed in the current of architecture-sculpture.
