If the investigations on architecture of the second twentieth century are now about ten years old, this heritage remains largely less recognized by the edility and the public, hence the interest of the censuses and monographs proposed here. Logically, after the census phase, which delimited the corpus of ensembles and residencies in Marseilles in its extension, the aim was to reduce their contours in order to develop a greater understanding, formalized by the monograph sheets. By definition, they reflect only one object of the corpus, but all the monographs thus constitute a collection covering a series of similar objects allowing the construction of typologies, classifications and comparisons.

The single building solution will come after several projects. The building is a takeover of La Verdière except that it is linear. Its height varies according to the slope while keeping the acrotères at the same level. The entrance halls are accessed through a gallery that sinks into the ground, lit by glass strips.
The distribution is also taken over from the Verdière in this new configuration, including the dryers, between kitchen and sanitary, enclosed by vertical concrete winds.
The southern facade is marked by continuous balconies, alternating solid railings and openwork, the separatives have kept the prism shape. The balconies turn partly on the east gable. At the top of the plot, a mound has been transformed into a terrace hosting a daycare break.
A set of hollow joints engraved on the façade gives the image of prefabricated panels.
The building retains the residential character of its curved model of the 8th arrondissement.
